How the process works
*more details can be found in Bookkeeper Quickbooks Integrator.
The first step is to create a company in Bookkeeper that will be the company the imported data will target.
Then you use the import process within Bookkeeper to create a staging area to import the data to. Bookkeeper will copy the database to this staging area so it can be imported to. When the Bookkeeper Quickbooks Integrator runs, it will import the QuickBooks data to the database in the staging area. Upon completion of the import process, Bookkeeper will copy the database back from the staging area back to its original location so you can start using the data from your imported QuickBooks company.
Note that the Bookkeeper Quickbooks Integrator uses a third party tool to provide a connection to QuickBooks. This tool can be purchased or used in a 30 day free trial mode. More information can be found in QODBC QuickBooks database driver.
