- Uninstall the program. To uninstall the program go to "Start -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove" programs.
- After uninstalling the program, go to: C:\Program Files\MySoftware
- Right click on the MyInvoices folder and left click on Copy.
- Minimize all of your windows. Now go to the My Documents folder and inside the My Documents folder, go to Edit | Paste. This will paste the MyInvoices folder into the My Documents folder.
- Now, maximize the MySoftware folder again. Delete the MyInvoices folder.
- Reinstall the program MyDeluxeInvoices and Estimates.
- Restart your computer.
- Go to the My Documents folder.
- Go inside the MyInvoices folder.
- Inside the MyInvoices folder, you will see a folder entitled DATA.
- Go into the Data folder and copy the contents of the entire Data folder.
- To do so, press the CTRL+A keys and after all the files are selected, press the CTRL+C to copy them all.
- Now, go to C:\Program Files\MySoftware\MyInvoices\Data
- Inside the Data folder, go to Edit | Paste. This will paste your files back into the default location.
Now you should be able to open up your files.
