To correct this error, you must download the latest version of the Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) bundle from Microsoft's website.
MDAC is a bundle of programs that assist your computer in running applications that use databases and ODBC drivers. Different versions may cause conflicts, and some issues such as this can be solved by downloading the latest version of MDAC from Microsoft.

Sometimes clicking on a link does not work because your client may cut off some of the characters. You may have to copy and paste the entire URL into your browser's address line. It should start with "http://...." and end with "DisplayLang=en"

Once there, type "MDAC" in the Search box and click on the Go button. You will want to select the MDAC 2.8 link from the results list.
