This problem happens when you have set your Windows Fonts, or "Display Scheme" to include fonts that are significantly larger than the standard Windows fonts size. When the fonts are bigger than usual, Windows creates a "scroll bar" in the area where a payment field would appear, because Windows thinks there is not enough room to include the full text of the field box's header.
Most likely, your Scheme is set to large, to extra large, or is unspecified. You will need to change it to Windows Standard.
To do this on Windows 95/98/ME/2000:
- Right-Click on the Desktop -> Properties -> Appearance
- Set Scheme to Windows Standard
- Click Apply
- Click OK
To do this on Windows XP:
- Right-Click on the Desktop -> Properties -> Appearance
- Set "Font Size" to "Normal"
- Click Apply
- Click OK
Go back into your invoicing program and check your Payments tab - the scroll bar should disappear, allowing you to enter your payment information.
