Restart your computer.

  1. Make sure no other programs are running
  2. Double-click on My Computer icon on your Desktop, or click Start and then My Computer
  3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\
    1. Double-click on the C: drive
    2. Double-click on the ProgramFiles folder
    3. Double-click on the Common Files folder
  4. Right-click on the Install Shield folder and select Rename, name this folder "InstallShield-OLD".
  5. Restart your computer
  6. Place the program's installation disc in the drive and follow the instructions to install the program
