The Color tab is used for setting colors of the selected items. It is divided into 4 sub-tabs and each of these sub-tabs contains controls which add/change or remove color effects applied to the chosen items. Further in this text you can read about which controls are contained in each of the sub-tabs and about the purpose of each control.


Adjustment


Contrast slider: Contrast settings.
Brightness slider: Brightness settings.
Saturation slider: Saturation settings.
Hue slider: Hue settings.
Red channel slider: Increases/decreases the amount of red color.
Green channel slider: Increases/decreases the amount of green color.
Blue channel slider: Increases/decreases the amount of blue color.
Reset button: Setting up parameters to its default values.


Solid


Color combo box: The combo box for colors selection from one of 140 color pallets or from the color picker dialog.
Opacity slider: Color opacity setting.
Mode combo box: The Modulate of the Colorize mode. If the mode is set to Modulate, a chosen color will be mixed with the primary color of the item. If the mode is set to Colorize, the item color will be turned into a gray scale and the item will be painted with the chosen color.
Reset button: Setting up parameters to its default values.


Gradient


From Color combo box: The combo box for choosing the first gradient color from one of 140 color pallets or from the color picker dialog.
From Opacity slider: The first gradient color opacity setting.
To Color combo box: The combo box for choosing the second gradient color from one of 140 color pallets or from the color picker dialog.
To Opacity slider: The second gradient color opacity setting.
Angle slider: The angle of a gradient.
Cycles slider: The number of gradient cycles.
Linear checkbox: The linear gradient setting.
Radial checkbox: The radial gradient setting.
Gamma correction checkbox: If this checkbox is checked the gradient between colors is softer.
Mode combo box: The Modulate or Colorize mode. If the mode is set to Modulate, the chosen color will be mixed with the primary color of the item. If the mode is set to Colorize, the item color will be turned into a gray scale and the item will be painted with the chosen color.

Image brush


Browse button: Starts the dialog box for selecting images to fill selected items with.
Tiled image brush checkbox: Determines whether the chosen image, used to fill the selected item, will be stretched or tiled.
Mode combo box: The Modulate of the Colorize mode. If the mode is set to Modulate, the selected item will be mixed with the image brush. If the mode is set to Colorize, the selected item will be turned into a gray scale and mixed with the chosen image.
Reset button: Setting up parameters to its default values.
