This is a known issue with Bookkeeper v7 and earlier. The issue has to do with the font color chosen on your Windows Desktop theme. Please do the following:
- Click on the Start button.
- Go to the Control Panel.
- Open the "Display"
- Click on the Appearance tab.
- Click on the Advanced button.
- Click the drop-down list below Item and select the "Active Title Bar".
- On the Font line, click on the Color and select the white box.
- Click on OK and then click on the other OK.
At this point, the problem should be resolved. Re-launch Bookkeeper and verify that the boxes are displaying correctly.
