The easiest way to make a backup of your invoice data is to use the built-in backup feature.

  1. File | Backup
  2. Browse (and browse to the location where you want to make the file)
  3. Open | Yes

If you get a message saying Selected files failed to back up successfully, there may not be enough space on the device you are backing up to. This is particularly common if you are "browsing" and making the backup file to a floppy disk, which does not offer much space and therefore may not hold an entire backup file. If this is the case, you can make a backup file to a Zip disk or to the hard drive and then copy to a writeable CD (if you have have one of these devices). You can also make a backup file on your hard drive, and then email that file as an attachment to yourself or someone else.
