In order to correct this issue, you will need to perform a clean reinstallation of the program with the latest build. You will also need to make sure you have the serial key for the program to reinstall it. To perform a clean reinstallation of the program, please do the following:

  1. Under your home directory to Library - Preferences - ByHost (~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/)
  2. Delete any file that begins with "com.prolific.ScreenSaver.MarineAquarium3"
  3. Then, under your boot drive, go to Library - Preferences (/Library/Preferences)
  4. Delete any file that begins with "com.prolific.ScreenSaver.MarineAquarium3"
  5. Download the lastest version of Marine Aquarium from the following location:

    http://www.avanquestusa.com/techsupport/MarineAquarium3.2.zip
  6. Extract the .DMG file from the .ZIP file you downloaded
  7. Double-click the extracted .DMG file to mount the file
  8. Drag the "Marine Aquarium 3.2.saver" icon to the ScreenSavers folder icon displayed next to it
  9. Drag the "Marine Aquarium 3.2" icon (the fish icon) to the Applications folder icon displayed next to it
  10. Go to the Apple menu and select System Preferences
  11. Click on the Desktop and Screen Savers icon
  12. Select Marine Aquarium 3 from the list of screen savers
  13. Copy and paste your serial key into the registration space
  14. Click the OK button
