If your system "locks up" and your mouse becomes an "hourglass" (giving the indication that it is permanently "working"), most likely the last report that was selected by the last user was the Sales By Product report. The Sales by Product report files will need to be deleted before you will be able to access reports again.

To delete the Sales by Product report files, please do the following:

  1. Go to your Start menu and choose Find or Search
  2. Do a search for Files or Folders
  3. For the File Name to search for, type in:

    *.rpt

  4. Make sure the system is looking for this search text on your local C: drive (if there is a Look In box, click the downward facing arrow, and select the C: drive).
  5. Click Find Now or Search
  6. When Windows locates it, delete Sales by Product.rpt by right-clicking on the file and then selecting Delete from the pop-up menu.
  7. Do another search; for the File Name to search for, type in:

    *.rpf

  8. Click Find Now or Search
  9. When Windows locates it, delete Sales by Product.rpf by right-clicking on the file and then selecting Delete from the pop-up menu.

After completing this, you should be able to access your reports once again in your program.
